Arleene

Arleene is a registered E- 500 hour instructor with The Kaivalya Yoga Method, 250 hour Aerial Yoga Instructor, and has studied under Alanna Kaivalya as well as attended workshops with Ana Forrest. In addition to the standard 500 hours, she is  knowledgeable in: meditation, yogic philosophy and mythology, in the art of adjustments, is certified in chakra therapeutics, Zumba, and an Embody Love Movement Facilitator.  In her free time she loves spending time with her husband Michael, their beautiful children Logan and Bella and their menagerie of animals.

I started practicing yoga in 2010. I found I loved how yoga made my body feel but more importantly how it helped me calm my busy mind.  My yoga teacher, Sandra Vanatko, always stressed the importance of a home practice and I found that even during my work day I could incorporate parts of my yoga practice. I am always sharing with friends and family the benefits of yoga and willing to show them a yoga pose or breath work. 


In 2016 after a health issue I embarked on a journey to become as healthy as I could. In 2017 I began the Indra’s Grace 200 hour Hatha Yoga teacher training and became a RYT 200. I have furthered my training by attending trauma sensitive yoga training and meditation training. I enjoy continuing to learn and expand my education to bring more to each class. My true hope is to be able to give you tools you can use outside of the studio for your physical and mental well -being. 

When I am not working on yoga, I love spending time with my husband Michael and our wonderful family. I also love fostering dogs for a local animal rescue and owning and showing miniature horses. 


My favorite mantra:  Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu is a Sanskrit mantra which in translation means:

“May all beings everywhere be happy and free, and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and to that freedom for all.”

Sarah

I stumbled onto yoga in early 2018 as a means for dealing with job related stress and anxiety. The calming benefits of yoga were almost instant and I was hooked! I enrolled in and graduated from a 200hr teacher training program and have been teaching ever since. In May of 2018, I completed my SUP (Stand Up Paddeboard) Yoga Teacher Training, and in May of 2019 I completed my level I Aerial Yoga training which has taken me out of my comfort zone completely and has been so much fun! Helping students let go of stress, relax and find poses they didn't know they were capable of is what I enjoy most about teaching yoga.
